What I Realized

Nothing will ever be the same

   Nothing will ever return

Sadness is the only thing keeping those memories closed

   If I remember, you’ll just get mad

The skeletons in my closet aren’t that bad

   I always remember and feel the tears ready to fall

Now my new self feels really small

  My whole life changed with one decision

But everyones keeps on flowing straight

   I want to sail away

But here I am to stay

   What I just realized

was all that I feel
